I am a Ukrainian-born performing artist currently residing in Canada, having been influenced throughout my life by independence, discipline, and a strong passion for the arts. Growing up in a small town called Sumy, Ukraine, I came from a family that placed a strong emphasis on values, structure, and spirituality, as my father is a priest. This has greatly influenced my personality, emotional sensitivity, and my ability to connect with others on a deeper level.
Growing up, I have had a strong passion for creativity, particularly in performance, music, and storytelling. I started exploring my acting skills as a child, which led me to formalize my education at a music school, where I learned to lay a strong foundation in vocal performance skills. Throughout my life, I have continued to develop my voice as a performing artist.
At the age of 16, I took a life-altering decision to come to Canada under the CUAET program, settling in a new country without my parents and embarking on a new chapter of my life with my brother. Adjusting to a new country, culture, and language at a young age was a test of my resilience and determination. During my high school education in Canada, I had multiple jobs and responsibilities, which taught me the importance of hard work and dedication.
My life in Canada has been a series of learning experiences, from working in a kitchen to a healthcare environment, each one of which has taught me about people, discipline, and teamwork, making me a stronger character as a performer.
Through everything, however, my passion for the arts has endured. Acting and music have been my greatest passions as a means to express complex emotions and tell impactful stories. As a vocalist and performer, I have the ability to bring authenticity and emotional depth to my work as well as a unique perspective based on my experiences with cultural transition and personal growth.
I am committed to furthering my growth as an artist and finding opportunities that challenge me and allow me to connect with people through honest and impactful performance.
